Cold functions: blast chilling fresh-cooked food to safe storage temperatures in minutes (not hours), shock freezing without the ice crystals that ruin texture, long-term preservation, bottle cooling to bring a wine to serving temperature in 15 minutes, and pre-cooling for pizza stones, dough or serving plates.
Warm functions: proving bread and dough at the perfect controlled temperature, holding cooked food ready-to-eat without overcooking, defrosting properly by time or weight (no more half-cooked edges), and low-temperature cooking — ideal for sous-vide-style results without separate equipment.

Finished in Neptune grey with a minimalist front and full touch control, the SBC4104G is built to slot into a standard 45cm built-in column alongside Smeg's combination ovens, coffee machines, and warming drawers — letting you design a fully coordinated bank of premium appliances.
Inside, the stainless steel cavity and three-level metal supports take GN 1/1 trays — the same format used in professional kitchens. 34-litre capacity with a 3kg freeze rate per cycle.

The supplied easy-fit temperature probe lets you target a precise core temperature, not just time — so blast-chill cycles finish the moment food is safely cooled, and low-temperature cooking ends at the exact doneness you set. 100 customisable recipes come pre-loaded and editable via touch control. Temperature range spans -28°C to +75°C, covering deep-freeze through to slow-warming.
