The most important specification to check is the extraction rate, measured in cubic metres per hour. As a rough guide, multiply your kitchen volume (length x width x height) by 10 to find the minimum extraction rate you need. A 20 cubic metre kitchen needs at least 200m3/h, though higher is always better.
