How to Register Your Extended Warranty

For any brand that offers a free extended warranty, you'll need to register your product with the manufacturer within their required window (usually 28-30 days from delivery). This is critical — if you miss the window, you'll only be covered for the standard 2 years.

To register, you'll need:

  • Model number (on the appliance rating plate and your Core Appliances order confirmation)
  • Serial number (on the appliance rating plate)
  • Date of purchase (your Core Appliances order date)
  • Your address and contact details

What's Covered

The manufacturer warranty covers your appliance against:

  • Faults arising from defective materials or components
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Electrical and mechanical failures that occur during normal domestic use
  • Parts and labour for repairs carried out by manufacturer-approved engineers

What's Not Covered

Manufacturer warranties typically do not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or failure to follow the user manual
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function (scratches, dents from installation)
  • Faults caused by incorrect installation (unless installed by an approved fitter)
  • Consumable parts such as filters, bulbs, and door seals
  • Damage caused by limescale, hard water, or lack of maintenance
  • Commercial use (all our appliances are covered for domestic use only unless bought via our commercial range)
  • Modifications or repairs made by unauthorised parties

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If your appliance develops a fault within its warranty period:

  1. Check your manual first — many issues can be resolved by simple troubleshooting (unplug/reset, check filters, clear blockages).
  2. Contact the manufacturer directly — they hold the warranty and manage all repairs. You'll find their customer service number in your product manual or on the rating plate.
  3. Have your details ready — model number, serial number, date of purchase, and a description of the fault.
  4. The manufacturer will arrange the repair — usually a home visit by one of their approved engineers.

If you're not sure how to contact the manufacturer, WhatsApp us on 07463 135593 and we'll help point you in the right direction. Our team replies within 30 minutes, 7 days a week.

Your Statutory Consumer Rights

The manufacturer warranty is in addition to, not in replacement of, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Under UK consumer law, all goods must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality
  • Fit for purpose
  • As described

If a product develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, you have the right to a full refund from us. Between 30 days and 6 months, you're entitled to a repair or replacement. Beyond 6 months, the burden of proof is on you to demonstrate the fault existed at the point of purchase — this is where the manufacturer warranty typically comes into play.
